It’s that time of the year again, folks, when we love to prepare some crumbled-crisp ground chicken, fluffy quinoa, and/or rice for added enjoyment, into crisp butter lettuce leaves and eat with our hands.
These lettuce wraps are the DREAM of the SUMMER. Mountains of tender-crisp ground chicken, fluffy quinoa or rice for extra filling, and gingery, garlicky sautéed vegetables wrapped in tender butter lettuce leaves.
Our preferred filling combination was:
- (You could also use ground pork!) ground chicken
- (You are welcome to substitute or add other vegetables you may have!) Carrot and zucchini
combination of quinoa and rice for a little more oomph (we kept it easy here with a pre-cooked packet of it) - It’s all sautéed and stir-fried with lots of garlic, ginger, green onions, and a dash of soy sauce, so it has a lot of flavor!
